Welcome
to Lakeside Animal Inn located on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee in
the Lakes Region of NH. At Lakeside Animal Inn at Lakes Region Veterinary
Hospital, we strive to provide compassion and excellence in animal
care. Here is brief summary of what to expect when your family member
stays with us …
We strive to provide the highest quality care possible for all
the animals in our hospital, including our boarders at Lakeside
Animal Inn. We provide clean, spacious and comfortable accommodations
for both cats and dogs. Our kennel staff is overseen by our hospital’s
veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
DOGS
The dogs stay in large indoor runs (3’6” X 6’)
and are walked by leash outside at least 3 times daily. The runs
are heated, air-conditioned and have overhead lights on timers
to mimic normal day/night light conditions. The dogs are fed and
watered two times daily, unless instructed otherwise. They are
supplied with plenty of bedding and kennel decks are installed
in each run. We also clean sterilize our own feeding bowls.
CATS
The cats stay in cozy kitty condos that are equipped with lounging
shelves. Two kitty condos can be linked together to form one big
condo for two cats, by opening a small connecting door. Each cat
is supplied with a new litter box every time his or her box is
soiled. The cats are fed and watered two times daily, unless instructed
otherwise. Our guests are also supplied with comfy bedding every
day.
Animals that are boarding at a veterinary hospital have many
advantages not available to those boarding at a kennel. This is
especially true of the animals boarding at Lakeside Animal Inn.
Our staff is highly trained to look for any signs of illness in
the animals boarding at our hospital and to notify a Doctor immediately
should they notice anything abnormal. If your animal should show
any signs of illness while boarding with us, a Doctor will examine
him/her and perform any necessary treatments (at an additional
charge). In addition, a Doctor can examine or immunize your animal
(at an additional charge) for your convenience while he/she boards
with us. If your animal is due for a routine surgery (i.e. spaying,
neutering, dental cleaning), these procedures could also be done
while your animal boards with us. Our main goal is to provide
compassion and excellence in animal care. We strive to provide
the highest quality medical and boarding care for all of the animals
at Lakes Region Veterinary Hospital and Lakeside Animal Inn and
to do so at the convenience of our clients.
DOGS: Rabies, Distemper, and
Kennel Cough Vaccines (Bordetella)
CATS: Rabies & Distemper
vaccines
• If your animal is not a patient at our hospital, you
will need to provide us with a copy of their medical records
to verify that they are up to date on these vaccinations. If
your animal is not current on these vaccinations, we will gladly
update them for you in advance (at least 14 days) of their boarding
stay.
• If your animal is not updated on its vaccinations or
if you fail to provide us with copies of their medical records
to verify a current vaccination status, then we will be unable
to board them at our facility. This is for the health and protection
of all the animals boarding at Lakeside Animal Inn.
